Offer Comparator

Compare two offers side by side — each with its own independent regime, PF rule, and professional tax, since different employers can differ on all three.

Offer A

₹-200 / month

Annual incl. variable: ₹-2,400

Offer B

₹-200 / month

Annual incl. variable: ₹-2,400

Both offers give the same monthly take-home.

How offers are compared

This tool runs the same take-home calculation used by the Take Home Calculator independently for both offers, then shows a direct callout for which one leaves you with more money each month.

Each offer gets its own full set of inputs: Basic, HRA, Special Allowance, Employer PF, variable pay, Employee PF rule, monthly Professional Tax, and tax regime. Nothing is shared between the two offers, so you can accurately model two very differently structured offer letters, for example, one employer that caps PF at ₹15,000 and another that doesn't, or one offer you're evaluating under the Old regime and another under the New.

The result panel for each offer shows guaranteed monthly take-home and annual take-home including variable pay, plus a one-line summary of which offer wins and by how much per month.

Frequently asked questions

Why compare take-home pay instead of just comparing CTC?

Two offers with an identical CTC figure can pay very differently in hand, because employers structure Basic, HRA, Special Allowance, and Employer PF differently, and each offer's tax regime and Professional Tax slab can differ too. Comparing take-home pay, after PF and income tax, tells you what actually lands in your bank account each month, which is the number that matters for budgeting.

Can I compare an offer on the Old regime against one on the New regime?

Yes. Each offer has its own independent regime, PF rule, and Professional Tax setting, since different employers can genuinely differ on all three, and you might also want to see how the same offer looks under both regimes by entering it twice.

Does the comparison include variable pay or bonuses?

Yes, but only in the annual figures, not the monthly ones. Variable pay is shown as an estimated post-tax amount added to your annual take-home, clearly separated from your guaranteed monthly pay, since bonuses and variable components aren't paid every month.

What if I only know one offer's Gross Salary, not the full breakdown?

Each offer's Take Home inputs support the same salary-breakdown toggle as the standalone Take Home Calculator. Turn it off to enter just your Gross Salary and get an estimated Basic/HRA/Special split, useful when you only have a summary figure from a recruiter rather than a full offer letter.
