These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NanoApps website and the apps we publish ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using any part of the Service — the website's calculators, our iOS apps, or any future NanoApps app — you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of service

NanoApps provides free browser-based calculators, free iOS apps, and — over time — additional utility and personal apps for Mac and iPhone. Some current offerings are free; some future apps or features may be offered for a one-time or recurring paid price. Where a specific app or feature is paid, that will be stated clearly at the point of purchase.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' use of it;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service except as permitted by law; or
• Misrepresent your identity or use the Service to harm or defraud others.

4. Intellectual property

The Service — including its design, code, calculator logic, branding, and content — is owned by NanoApps unless otherwise noted, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the Service for your own personal or internal purposes, but you may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative products from it without our prior written permission.

5. Payments and refunds

Most of the Service is free today. For any current or future paid app, feature, or digital good: unless required by applicable law, purchases of digital goods are final and non-refundable once delivered. Where a paid app is distributed through a third-party platform (such as the Apple App Store), that platform's own refund and billing policies also apply and may take precedence over this section.

This is a default, generic refund clause pending any specific pricing or checkout decisions — it should be revisited once real paid products and a payment provider are in place.

6. Disclaimer of warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Calculator results (gratuity, income tax, take-home pay, and offer comparisons) are provided for general informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice — always verify important figures with a qualified professional or official source before relying on them.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NanoApps and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Termination

We may suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, or restrict your access to it, at any time, with or without notice — for example, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
