Income Calculators India ("the App") is a free iOS application developed by Shanmuganathan M. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
The App itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All calculations (take-home salary, income tax, offer comparisons, gratuity) are performed entirely on your device. No salary figures, tax inputs, or results ever leave your device.
The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:
- Device identifiers (IDFA, if you grant permission)
- IP address and approximate location
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
- Device type, OS version, language
This data is collected by Google, not by us. We do not have access to it.
2. App Tracking Transparency (iOS 14+)
On first launch, the App will ask for permission to track your activity across apps and websites (Apple's ATT prompt). This permission is used solely by AdMob to show you more relevant ads.
If you decline, AdMob will still show ads but they will be less personalised. Your use of the App's calculators is unaffected either way.
You can change this permission at any time in: iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
3. Third-Party Services

4. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
5. Data Retention & Security
We do not retain any user data. All calculator inputs exist only in your device's memory while the App is open.
6. Your Rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no data for us to provide, correct, or delete. For data collected by Google AdMob, please refer to Google's privacy controls above.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
